Phone is emitting a random short beep

Out of nowhere my phone started emitting a short beep from the speaker randomly. It's not the notification or ringer volume sound either. I tried setting the ringer volume to silent and the beep is still happening. This is the only symptom as my phone works fine. I did not do anything prior to this happening such as installing an app or running updates. I've tried restarting the phone as well as shutting down, waiting for a while and restarting. The beep is still occurring. Any ideas? I appreciate the help.
