I searched but haven't seen this issue.
In short, I have an Incredible that is about a year old. I LOVE IT! No extended battery and that's always been fine so long as I charge daily. I use the web very frequently, phones and texts less. Other apps are used here and there.
Carrier is Verizon. I have never had a problem with covereage with other phones and haven't changed location at home, work or car.
For about the last 3 weeks, calls just drop off. No warning and no degradation of quality beforehand. One minute there is someone on the phone and then there isn't. Has happened on both incoming and outgoing calls. I don't realize it at first and when I pull the phone away to look at it, it's displaying the normal home screen or a plain black screen with no icons, etc. Pushing the home key works then.
Any ideas? Do these occasionally need a battery replacement? Is it dying?
