Droid Inc. 2 user for three days.  Previously Blackberry.  Need it for phone/texting/business emails.  Need to have ringtones to differentiate contacts, notifications, alarm, etc.  While I am impressed with the Inc. 2, I am extremely frustrated on how to get ringtones to apply and/or appear in the section from which to choose your notifications ringtones.  Anyone out there as confused as I am?  I saw someone suggest getting some app and putting it on some type of micro card.  What is that?  I have some time before I return this, but I don't think at this point any phone should be this difficult to get up and running.  Also, quite disappointed that I have to go online for the user manual.  It's extremely inconvenient.  If anyone out there can help, please let me know!  Many thanks! Sad

I would also like to do that, AND apply pics of each contact to their info.
Is there a way to do these things on this phone?

if you want to use a stock ringtone there is a simple drop box in the contact card screen you can use to change labeled "ringtone." but to use a downloaded ringtone it gets a bit more confusing. find the song in your music library, then tap the menu button at the bottom of your screen, then tap "more." the first option on this new screen should be "set as ringtone," to make this a contact specific tone, choose the second option "contact ringtone." then just choose the contact you want. this seems a little backwards to me. even after i had done it once it took me a minute to figure out how to do it again Smiley
