I've seen vids with the Nexus One using voice recognition for composing a text message.

Do we know if the Droid 2.XX update will include that for the Incredible?

There is an app called Handcent sms and it has voice texting.  I use it all the time.  One thing is that it will not text spoken curse words..lol..I keep trying.

Dan is right. There are actually many apps available to give you this feature. The phone is more than capable of doing this, it just was not included in the standard features of the firmware we currently run on the Incredible.

anytime you see the microphone on your screen you can use voice. i can send text with voice with no special app.

Agreed dagger. I have used voice for email, text, etc. It has worked very well for me.

I've used Vlingo for blackberry.  It works very well.  I think it is also available for the droid
