I hope so because that's the battery that was posted as being used on another thread and that's what I bought. It's listed for Eris on some of the sites I've seen it on.

I just got my Seidio 1750 (slim one) yesterday.  I charged it last night and it's been 8-1/2 hours since I turned it on and I'm still at 87%.  I'm really liking this.  I was charging at least once a day.  It's supposed to get better after a few charges too!  I got mine off of ebay.  The person had gotten an Incredible and ordered all these accessories and then decided to get a blackberry so they sold all the extra's on ebay.  Got it for $39.  I also got a Seidio case for it too.  It fits like a glove and is extremely thin.  Seidio seems to make great products!
Ive seen this and I was thinking of getting it. How much heavier is it then the stock one?  Thanks

I purchased a Seido extended battery to use with my HTC Touch a few years back.  The sacrifice of a little slimness was worth the extended battery life.  Plus, the device just seems more solid and fit better in my hand.  It's not so thick that you still can't carry it in your jeans pocket, either.  I assume that the same applies for the Incredible's battery.

The extended battery is a good idea. Just DO NOT get one from fommy.com. They have the worst customer service ive ever seen. They take forever to get you your order. One guy told me it took him 2 months to get his and they never shipped mine and I finally got my money back. I just bought the 1750 mah from amazon,it was $41 and $5 shipping and took just 3 days

Anybody heard about the UTStarcom® 2150 mAh.
It appears specifically for the HTC Droid Incredible 2.
The price is a bit high!
Price: $65.99

I have an incredible on order. Just a question about the battery. Is there a way to charge through the micro usb port from an external source, rather than take off the protective case and the battery door ?

you do not need to remove the battery door to charge. Any good case will leave the port exposed to you can plug in the USB whenever needed.

Sorry, I meant that if carrying 2 batteries incase one goes dead. You have to take the case off, then backplate just to swap batteries. Has anyone used the external battery supply things? And if so, can anyone advise of a good one to purchase?

Good find, but it has already been mentioned in another thread lol..
I was thinking about going with this battery as well, But it's a little pricey for me, and after seeing the picture of the new back cover you will need to use, I changed my mind..

To me, it looks a good bit thicker than what they claim to be "4mm"
It looks more like it DOUBLES the thickness.
I bet the battery is AWESOME though!

this is the picture that drew me away from buying.

Personally, I just ordered a set of 2 1500mah batteries with a Dock Style charger for them, all for $16.99 on ebay..
I realize its only 200mah more than the OEM battery, but extra batteries will be nice to have as well. and the ability to charge them, outside of the phone.

I can't have my phone get OBESE...

Do you have a link for where to buy these?

I recently received the Seidio 3500 battery for my Dinc, charged it and installed it Saturday 10/2 at about 9:30 AM. The phone has not been turned off since then and now, at about 7:45 PM on Sunday, and after moderately heavy use, the battery is showing 62% capacity. I'm impressed, and for what I paid for it on Amazon.Com ($53.94 with free shipping), it's looking like a pretty good buy. Additionally, I picked up the case that Seidio makes for the Dinc with the extended battery, as I'm not comfortable running through the day with NO case on my phone. That case is a perfect fit, as you would expect from Seidio, and also worth the money.

Just my two-cents worth...

**1750 Battery Test Continued **

Day 6 - After charging overnight (see above) fired it up with only mobile network and background data (not auto-sync) enabled.
Battery at 100% at 7:30 AM.

So now I feel silly, I read in the Battery Savers thread SikYou's comment about pushing E-mail and I looked at mine - check every 10 minutes! Never crossed my feeble mind - DOHH!

So... Final summary -

Turned DOWN E-Mail to check every 2 hours (it's my home account)
Synced with Google in the AM once.
Turned on WIFI for 7.5 hours while at work,
Played Coloriod for about an hour throughout the day (I'm so ashamed...),
Received 3 5-15 minute phone calls and 1 55 minute phone call,
Received a few e-mails approximately every 2 hours,
Played music through the cheap radio receiver in my car for approx. 45 minutes,

At 9: PM - Battery power 73%.

Under these conditions should be able to make it last 2 days!

Hope all this info was helpful to someone *whew*.

Thank you for all of that information.  May I ask where you purchased your battery?
