The Incredible specific windshield mount is available from Verizon, even though it doesn't show up on their website. Just call in and ask for it, and the rep can look it up and order it for you. I have mine on the way, and it should be here Monday. They are also showing the desktop charging cradle, in the system, but not in stock, yet.

Hey There! Does anybody have good suggestions/experiences for a car mount for the Incredible? I saw one that had 3.5mm jacks on it plus a USB connection but I didnt save the web page so I am still searching.

I had an arkon mount for my Honda Civic and it worked well. It was the air vent type:

sm429-SBH

http://www.arkon.com/Smartphone_Holder.php#SM429-SBH

It's cool because it doesn't black any of the ports or push any of the buttons when the grip is holding the phone. Arkon also has the windshield style and one with a usb charger on the same page if that's your thing.

Verizon sells a car mount made for the incredible I have seen it. You cant get it online but in their stores it sells for $30.  I will be getting it when my droid comes in.

@Spotmark - Did you get this yet?  How is it?  I would really like to get a car/windshield mount that is specific to the D-inc. so that it doesn't cover any ports or push buttons (like the universal mounts).  However, I'm hesitant to order one sight-unseen from Verizion.  I don't see why they just can't put the darn thing on their website!

Edit:  I see you posted this in May, but as of today (July 8th) they still don't show it on the website.

Yes, I've had mine for quite some time now. I use it every day. The only thing I don't like about it, and it's trivial, is that the mont the phone sits in, detaches from the arm and can be used a swiveling belt holster. Since it swivels, when it's mounted on the arm, on the windshield, it doesn't always stay level. The weight from the phone causes it to tilt a little.

all I can say is be careful of the "universal" mounts...they can block the power port (for CLA) and they can push on the volume buttons which causes the touch screen not to respond...I am waiting for a mount specifically for the Incredible.

1+
Actually though, for the price they're not always a bad solution - if you're handy with an Xacto knife and willing to make *ahem* modifications to the holder Wink I'm using a vent-mount and keep it vertical to better see turn-by-turn directions. Vent-mount has fewer temperature changes than windshield mount (at least in Texas), but be aware that it is not easily or quickly removable to put in another car.
