I ordered the extended life battery from Verizon after I received my phone and was expecting the same size one. It came in 3 days ago and this one is larger and heavier.
I wasn't going to use it as my cover didn't fit with the new over sized back but I decided to give it a try and it is incredible how long it lasts.

I am now using it and am happy with it. I am not using a cover, just a screen protector

I just ordered it from  Verizon for $44.99.  You have to log-on to my Verizon to see the price.

You got the larger battery from verizon without a back cover??  I got one but it came with a battery cover that fitted its increased size.....

So I received the battery and finally got around to installing it.  It does come with a new back plate.  However, now my rubber case doesn't fit any more.

For the 2150 mAh, there isn't a case--not even third-party vendors have made one.  I had to take the black high-gloss silicone case and cut a hole to where it fits (and it does)  But you'll have to tinker with your screen protector, as you'll definitely want to secure a flush fit once you fit the DINC into the modded case.

Is there a specific brand of high gloss case that works? I did a search on Amazon and found several brands.

I got mine here maybe i spent a little more than i should have  Sad . but they said they may have silicone cases for extended batteries in the future....hopefully they do im going to tell them to give me one for free!
