i finally got my my new Droid Incredible yesterday and I love it. Although i agree the battery life is awful and i'm doing everything i can and have read here to try and improve it. I've downloaded a battery app so i can watch it and I stop any apps that i'm not using as well as Juice defender. Any other ideas? Besides that any other useful apps that you guys can think of i'm all ears Smiley

Welcome to the club--you will love your new "phone"...I think the battery life improves over time, at least that's what i've noticed...I'm still finding new apps and I've had mine since May...Everyone is into different thngs so check out the thread for apps...I also do a Google search of Droid apps about every month or so just to see if anything new is out there.

Welcome indeed, it is pretty Incredible. Agreed on the battery life, it seems to get better over time. Don't bother with task killers, etc. Just let your DInc do its thing. Agreed with the apps. Very personal. My theory is if you are ever asking or saying I wish my phone would ____. It most likely does and yes, there is an app for that. Smiley Enjoy.

I actually decided to go get the Extended Battery from Verizon. Seems to be much better now the little bit I used it before I put it on the charger. only cost me 20 dollars since I had a bit of credit there that I needed to use. I really don't mind the extra size. I like the app market much better than Apples. I have an ipod touch and the apps hardly worked. All of the apps that i've downloaded thus far work great!

you may want to try the extended battery that seidio makes. ive read about it in other posts and everyone seems to love it. the best thing about it though is that it is the same size as the original battery. heres a link to the site.
